Just what is the FWAHS Commencement?

The Fort Wayne Area Home Schools (FWAHS) provides a formal commencement ceremony for local home educated high school graduates. Certification for graduation is determined by each individual homeschool. There is no residency requirement. We have had graduates from as far away as Warsaw, Marian, Ohio and Japan. FWAHS does not charge a fee for participation, but does request that graduate families be "Homemade News" subscribers. Graduates and their parents/guardians are required to attend dress rehearsal, Friday evening, June 4th. Responsibilities of graduating families include: a biography for the program, graduate pictures for a multimedia presentation, a diploma and a commercial unaltered cap and gown.

Questions can be directed to Tim and Sandie Paden at graduation@fwahs.org or (260) 447-1233. Watch this page for more information.
